Today (August 22) between about 11:00 am and 1:30 pm eastern FeedBlitz’s availability was severely affected by what appeared to be automated queries using known botnet-style signatures. I do not think we were specifically targeted, but regardless, things certainly suffered for a while until we could restore order on the servers. To be clear: FeedBlitz was NOT hacked, but our service was not 100% available either. Some subscribers may have received duplicates of your email as FeedBlitz attempted to backtrack and recover mailings under way that were affected by the problems.
So apologies for the unexpected down time if you were affected by that. If you ran an import during this time I recommend running it again – we will de-duplicate, so notifications will NOT be sent twice - but it’s possible not everyone was added as things bumped around earlier.
