“Operation Midnight Special” Nets Druggies Across Lincoln County Posted: 20 Jun 2012 08:57 AM PDT Lincoln County Sheriff's Office News Release   Lincolnton,NC– Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigators and deputies have been deployed throughout the county tonight (Tuesday) in a roundup of some of the area's main street level drug dealers, high level traffickers and even first time drug dealers. “This is the most aggressive drug investigation we had had. But it shows there is a drug problem ( in Lincoln County ),” said sheriff David Carpenter. “But it also shows that ( the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office ) knows what is going on.” Lincoln County Sheriff's deputies, investigators, the SWAT team and Lincolnton Police are looking for approximately 35 suspects identified in true bills of indictment handed down by the Lincoln County Grand Jury.  The roundup got underway shortly after a briefing at 8:00 p.m. at theHarvenA.CrouseLawEnforcementCenter. Warrants were obtained by undercover operations that have been on-going since January 2012 by Lincoln County Narcotics Investigators.  Once again most of the suspects were targeted and infiltrated based on tips received on the Drug Tip Line from members of the community. Joseph Adkins Officers first seized a vehicle from 103 Auton Street in Lincolnton then the first suspect was picked up around 9:20 p.m. when officers arrested    Joseph Warren Adkins, 23, of1389 North Gate CT.Denver NC   He is charged with 1 felony count each of Possession with the intent to sell and deliver marijuana, and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for a controlled substance. He is under a $5,000 secured bond. Ricky Hill Also arrested were Ricky Bryant Hill, 23, of866 Ram Lane,Lincolnton,NCand Carlos Montano, 49,1563 Oak Park Court, Iron Station.   Hill is charged 2 felony counts each of sell and deliver marijuana and Possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana.  His bond was set at $8,000.   Montano is charged on a true bill of indictment and was placed under a $5,000 secured bond. Brenda Parker Brenda Ann Parker, 62,315 N. High Street, Lincolnton.  She is charged with 1 count each of sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance and Possession with the intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled Substance.  She was placed under a $5,000 unsecured bond.       Ryan James Johnston, 19, 321 Elizabeth Avenue, Lincolnton, NC is charged with 4 felony counts of sell and deliver marijuana, 3 felony counts each of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for a controlled substance and one felony count possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana.  His bond is set at $10,000 secured.     Jose Tito Castillo (no photo), 38, 2103North Aspen Street,Lincolnton,NCis charged on a true bill of indictment.  He is booked under a $15,000 secured bond.   Sheryl Montgomery Sheryl Louise Montgomery, 51, 5828 Rumfelt Road, Stanley, NC is charged with 1 felony count each of sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance, sell and deliver cocaine, possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver schedule VI Controlled substance and Possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver cocaine.  She was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.           Dershae Blackburn   Dershae Mylantus Blackburn, 22, 606 East Church St. Lincolnton NC is charged with  2 felony counts each of sell and deliver cocaine and possession with the intent to manufacture, sell or deliver cocaine.  He was placed under a $10,000 unsecured bond.     Robert Lee Soles, 25, 6881 Rolling Hills Lane, Stanley is charged with 1 felony count each of possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling place for a controlled substance.  He is under a $5,000 secured bond.   Sally Strutt   Sally Jayne Strutt, 29, of 146 Leisure Trail, Lincolnton is charged with 2 felony counts each of sell and deliver marijuana and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana.  She was booked under a $5,000 secured bond.
