Lincoln County Sheriff's Office News Release

Lincolnton, NC – Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigators and Patrol deputies executed a search warrant Friday at 644 Low Bridge Road, the same place they raided on April 5, 2012.

The search warrant was in response to numerous complaints from neighbors that the sale of illegal drugs had continued at that location even after the first search warrant was executed.  Narcotics investigators developed probable cause to secure a second search warrant.

On Friday, investigators seized 8 ounces of marijuana and three guns and charged Robin Gail Rowe, 54, of 644 Low Bridge Road, Iron Station with one count each of Felony Possession with the Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver a Controlled Substance Schedule VI and Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle for a Controlled Substance.  He was taken before a Lincoln County magistrate who set bond at $7,000 secured.  Rowe posted bond and was released.  A second person at the residence was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In the April 5, 2012 search warrant, Rowe was charged with felony Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Manufacture Marijuana and Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle for a Controlled Substance.  He was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  In April, Officers found 44 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.  They seized the items along with $241 in cash.

Officers say they are grateful for the support of the community and their continued use of the TIP Line to provide information that assists in removing drug traffickers from our neighborhoods.

Do not assume that the deputies already know or that some other neighbor will call.  If the activity keeps occurring, keep on reporting it.  The TIP Line numbers are 704-736-8422 or 704-736-8606.
