| Following in the steps of premium online streaming video providers like Netflix and Hulu, Amazon is beefing up its Prime Instant Video catalog by introducing an original comedy series to the mix. In an unusual -- and, frankly, savvy -- twist, Amazon will be debuting six pilots on Instant Video for subscribers to watch and vet. Amazon will decide which series to send into production based on viewer feedback.
