| Just when you think the weight-loss industry has run out of ideas, here's an inspired ad campaign from Medifast that features people interviewing their fatter selves through the magic of video. The ads use video shot in January 2012 and later on in the year when the participants had reached their weight-loss goals. For instance, the video above features Kimberley Vandlen, who lost more than 30 lbs.

| Forbes Magazine is now available for download on Apple's Newsstand. The move comes just a couple of weeks after The Wall Street Journal finally entered Apple's digital newspaper and magazine service. Forbes Magazine has long been available on iOS via the third-party magazine app Zinio. Plus, the publication already maintains several supplementary apps in the App Store, including Forbes Photos and Videos and Forbes Lists.

| Amazon is continuing to build outs its Prime Instant Video catalog in 2013. The retail giant announced Friday that it has signed a licensing agreement with A+E Networks to bring past seasons of shows from A&E, History, Lifetime and Bio to its streaming library. The deal is notable, not least because Netflix lost access to the same content after the subscription service failed to renew its agreement with A+E last fall.
