| Jaw-dropping displays of the northern lights can be seen in a stunning series of time-lapse videos captured in Sweden this month by astrophotographer Chad Blakley. Blakley has been filming in Sweden's Abisko National Park, which offers a view of glowing aurora borealis over snowy mountains. Swooshing and swirling green northern lights can be seen glimmering in a deep purple sky in the videos, which were shot over a 13-day stretch.

| The Chromebook Pixel, that high-definition touchscreen laptop Google launched Thursday, isn't for everyone. At $1299 and $1449 for the wi-fi and LTE versions respectively, it certainly isn't for every budget. Many potential purchasers will be aghast that what you get for that is a laptop basically running the Chrome browser, albeit one with QuickOffice built in, 64 GB of local storage and a whopping 1 TB of cloud storage.
