Opera Acquires Skyfire Labs for $155 Million | | Opera Software has acquired Skyfire Labs, the maker of mobile browser Skyfire, for $155 million, the company has announced. Skyfire's other products include the Rocket Optimizer, which provides video delivery optimization for mobile operators, and Skyfire Horizon, a mobile browser extension which operators can customize and use for promotions and advertising.

| The passcode lock on the iPhone 5 isn't perfect, it seems. A video posted on YouTube Jan. 31 by user "videosdebarraquito" shows how to bypass the lock on an iPhone 5 running iOS 6.1. The method was confirmed by the tech blog The Verge, which posted its own video showing the trick.

| HP plans to switch to Android for its upcoming smartphones and tablets, ReadWrite Mobile reports citing sources familiar with the matter. According to the report, HP will launch a high-end tablet powered by Nvidia's Tegra 4 chip "soon," which might make the device one of the first Tegra 4-powered tablets on the market.
