| Yahoo has acquired Alike, a location-discovery app, for an undisclosed sum as part of its continued push into mobile under new CEO Marissa Mayer. Alike announced Tuesday that it will join the Yahoo Mobile team where it will work on building "personalized" and "intelligent" mobile experiences for Yahoo's users.

| Facebook's M&A strategy is getting more ambitious.
