| Twitter launched an updated app for Windows Phone Tuesday, completely redesigning the app and bringing it to the level of the company’s apps for other platforms. Among the updates, Twitter for Windows Phone now includes the Home, Connect, Discover, and Me tabs found in other versions of the app. The tabs function much like they do in the Android and iPhone versions of Twitter.

| BARCELONA — CAT, the same company that designs and manufactures heavy machinery, has got a rugged Android smartphone on display here in Barcelona, offering some serious durability for a reasonable price. The CAT B15 is an Android 4.1 "Jelly Bean" device, with a 4-inch, 800 x 480-pixel screen, a dual-core, 1GHz Cortex A9 CPU, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage memory.

| Firefox OS — the new mobile platform from Mozilla — just had a big debut at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, announcing partnerships with big-name phone manufacturers such as Alcatel and ZTE as well as wireless carriers including Sprint. Now Twitter is jumping on the bandwagon, announcing support for an app on Firefox OS.
