Watch This Robot Figure Out How to Fly By Crashing

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again" seems to be the motto of a flying robot that picks itself back up after crashing into surrounding objects. Called the AirBurr, the bot is equipped with a unique "Active Recovery System," enabling it to withstand collisions, relaunch and continue flying. Researchers at EPFL, a Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, were inspired to create the AirBurr after observing the way insects move.

Evernote Resets All User Passwords After Security Breach

Evernote implemented a service-wide password reset Saturday after the company discovered suspicious activity on its network. The note-taking service issued a statement on its site, saying that no stored user content or financial data was changed or lost, but that hackers gained personal information including usernames, passwords and email addresses.

Apple Keeps Top Spot on Fortune's 'Most Admired Company' List

Apple secured the top spot for the sixth year in a row in Fortune's Top 50 World's Most Admired Companies list. The company beat out Google and Amazon, which came in second and third on the international list. The top ten positions are all held by American companies, with businesses like Coca-Cola, Starbucks and Walt Disney joining the ranks. Apple was voted number one by 3,800 company directors and executives.

SpaceX Dragon Capsule Glitch (and Recovery) Shows Why Spaceflight Is Hard

The struggles a private cargo capsule faced in orbit Friday reinforce the notion that spaceflight remains a challenging proposition, experts say. The unmanned SpaceX Dragon spacecraft launched smoothly atop a Falcon 9 rocket Friday (March 1), but only one of the capsule's four thruster "pods" activated after it reached orbit.
