| Comedian Matthew Parise, better known on Twitter as @sucittaM, unexpectedly took his wife Danielle to the hospital in January when she suffered a serious brain trauma. Danielle immediately underwent neurosurgery to relieve pressure on the brain, followed by more surgeries to stop and remove a cerebral arteriovenous malformation (AVM).

| Twitter updated its mobile apps and mobile site Wednesday, adding enhancements to search, web browsing, and autocomplete suggestions. Across the board you’ll now see improved search results when searching for tweets. Working alongside the recently added ability to see older tweets, now when you perform searches you’ll be given a “top Tweet” at the top of the screen that Twitter feels best matches your particular query.

| The public Internet now houses over 630 million sites, a number that is growing each month. And each of those sites can have thousands or millions of individual pages (CNN.com, for example, has over 47 million pages indexed on Google, and adds thousands each day). Free access to all that information is, on the whole, a very good thing for society. More people can stay informed, more voices can reach an audience.

| If you know anything about Sesame Street's Count von Count, it's that he loves to count. In Sesame Street's latest YouTube upload, the number-loving Muppet is counting the TV show's YouTube channel views. And for a good reason: Sesame Street has just become the first non-profit YouTube channel to hit 1 billion views.
