Oculus Rift Used to Simulate Decapitation by Guillotine | | We've seen the virtual reality headset Oculus Rift take a 90-year old grandmother on a charming tour through Tuscany, but the device can also be used for other, much less pleasant experiences. In one very blatant example, users are going through the experience of being decapitated by a guillotine, a device used for executions, most famously in the 18th century during the French Revolution.

Zuckerberg Delayed Instagram Deal to Watch 'Game of Thrones' | Monday, May 06, 2013 5:30 PM | The Daily Dot |
| Only Mark Zuckerberg could throw a billion-dollar deal on ice to sit down with his friends and watch Game of Thrones. We're at least a few years away from calling the 28-year-old Facebook CEO an eccentric billionaire (because a) he's not old; and b) he hasn't thrown stacks of benjamins from a hot air balloon just yet), but this is just one of the few details about the Facebook-Instagram deal that shook up the Web last year.

Man Animates Wife's Drunken Story About Tortilla Chips | Monday, May 06, 2013 4:43 PM | Neha Prakash |
| If there's ever been a PSA for not drinking and joking, it's this video. Adam Patch's wife got a little too tipsy one night and turned, like most do, into a stand-up comedian. Her subject of choice? Tortilla-chip bullying. (No, folks, even we can't make this stuff up.) Patch recorded his wife's nonsensical, pun-filled story and turned it into a darkly hilarious animated video that really shines a light on the chip-on-chip abuse.

Lovato's camp launched LovaticsSpeedUpTime.com on Monday, challenging fans to tweet the song name (in hashtag form) that appears on the site. For example, "#WithoutTheLove" is track three on the album.

| Some travelers take clichéd photos when they visit famous sites; others add their own flare. During Jaime Davila's two-year trip around the globe, he took more than 26,000 photos. Of those, 426 feature acrobatic toe-touches, the jumps popularized by cheerleaders. While not all 426 are in particularly unique locations — and many are toe-touch fails — you can take a trip around the world with Davila and his signature pose.
