| A Northern California company is taking bike lights to a new level by developing LEDs that light up wheels with custom images and animations. MonkeyLectric's Monkey Light Pro system for bicycle wheels creates a LED light show when the bike is moving. Monkey Light Pro is a set of four rows of LED light strips, which are waterproof for riding in the elements.

| A new app lets users explore Mount Everest in lifelike detail without ever having to leave the couch. Called Mount Everest 3D, the iOS app shows the world's highest mountain from "any perspective" in the form of a 3D map, according to its App Store description. = Created by German company 3D RealityMaps, the map is based on high-resolution images from WorldView satellites, and details common routes, base camps and weather stations.

| A very rare Apple 1 computer sold for a record $671,400 in a German auction on Saturday, according to The New York Times. As Mashable reported ahead of the auction, the Apple 1 computer is a low-powered PC from Apple's humble beginnings, which began with original co-founders Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. This specific computer that was up for sale at German auction house Auction Team Breker is still functioning.

| Hey wait a minute, is that the Apple iWatch we caught a glimpse of in the company's latest soft-sell image spot, released on Thursday? As you can see in the screen grab above and in the video below, the guy's clearly wearing some sort of electronic watch on his right wrist, and it's certainly not the Pebble Smart Watch, which has a more overall rectangular shape and a rectangular face as well.
