| Yammer, the social networking tool for businesses owned by Microsoft, announced a partnership on Tuesday with online influence measurement tool Klout that will integrate Klout scores onto Yammer profiles. The partnership means Yammer users can publish public Klout scores onto their Yammer profiles. Yammer wrote in a blog post that this will showcase employees' influence in the office social sphere.

| Tough times have hit Barnes & Noble, which released its fiscal 2013 fourth quarter and full-year earnings on Tuesday morning. Earnings were disappointing across the board: Fourth quarter revenues (for the period ending April 27) amounted to $1.3 billion, a 7.4% decline from the same period a year before. Net losses hit $122 million — a sharp rise from the $9.7 million in losses reported in fiscal 2012 Q4.

| MTV UK is one of just a handful of marketers to employ Snapchat, the somewhat controversial yet wildly popular mobile app, for a promotion. The channel is disseminating exclusive photos and videos from Geordie Shore, the British clone of Jersey Shore, to viewers' smartphones to promote its sixth season. MTV alerted viewers of the promotion with a TV campaign that launched last week showing a Hangover-like series of vacation photos.

| Well, that was quick. Just hours after going on sale in the U.S., Canada and the UK, the OUYA gaming console was already sold out Tuesday morning on Amazon, though other retailers still had it in stock. Amazon, which was selling the device for $99, told customers that the item was temporarily out of stock. However, as of Tuesday morning, Target and Best Buy were still carrying OUYA.
