| Yahoo announced its second quarter earnings on Tuesday, beating earnings forecasts but missing slightly on revenue. Yahoo reported earnings of .35 share on revenue of $1.07 billion after ad commissions, a revenue decline of 7% over last year. Analysts were expecting earnings of .30 a share on revenue of $1.08 billion. As expected, Yahoo reported a 11% decline in display advertising revenue compared to the same period last year.
