| While it may not be as robust as the Amplified Mobility Platform Suits that tear through Pandora in the movie Avatar, a new robotic exoskeleton is strong enough to handle a light jog and includes hands that are nimble enough to pick up an egg without cracking it. Developed by Sagawa Electronics, the Powered Jacket MK3 boasts an aluminum and carbon fiber frame that weighs only 55 pounds, despite being almost seven-and-a-half feet tall.

| Search is supposed to be the heart of Google, right? But an entrepreneur has pointed out that the search engine's site design doesn't cater much to showing organic search results these days. Aaron Harris, the cofounder of Tutorspree, explained in a blog post that he looked at "the amount of real estate given to true organic results," by searching "auto mechanic" on Google, from his office in New York City.

| Last month Siemens and EADS demonstrated a new gas-electric vehicle capable of carrying two people and their luggage 900 kilometers — roughly the distance from New York to Detroit — between refuels and recharges. The prototype was not a car, but a small two-seater airplane. The hybrid plane is similar to the Chevrolet Volt in that it relies on an electric motor and uses a gas engine as backup.

| SpaceX has released video footage of its Grasshopper rocket's latest test flight — and as you'll see, the reusable vehicle is reaching new heights, quite literally. In the clip, the rocket soars to 1,066 feet — a record for the platform — hovers for a moment, then descends, balanced on its own exhaust, back to its launch pad for a precision landing.
