UPDATE: Olympic Medalist Gus Kenworthy Still Waiting to Take Rescued Puppies Home Posted: 17 Feb 2014 01:58 PM PST We mentioned a few days ago that Olympic athlete Gus Kenworthy decided to take home with him to Colorado four puppies and their mother after discovering them homeless in Russia and he wasn't kidding. It turns out that the skier is having some trouble getting the necessary paperwork in order for the long trip home. A U.S. skiing official reported that Kenworthy had to push back his plans to return home in order to solidify the adoption. Submitted by: Unknown (via CBS News) |

A Craigslist Note to the Former Mystery-Owners of a Pit Bull Posted: 17 Feb 2014 09:00 AM PST A unique post on Craigslist is a message to the unknown previous owners of a once-emaciated, now rescued pit bull that was discovered as a result of an eviction. The current owner of the dog holds no hard feelings and seems to only want to give an update of sincere love and thanks for their added family member. She is sleeping next to me as I type this, grunting with joy. In fact, she sleeps on my bed every night. Your dog is an awesome dog. We love her so much. The past three years we've had with her have brought us (and her) so much happiness. One bit of information they are seeking is the age and original name of their beloved pup. We encourage you to reach out to this person if you have any information about the history of this beautiful pit bull. Submitted by: Unknown (via Craigslist) |
