Muttbombing: The New Instagram Craze That Helps Shelter Dogs Posted: 25 Feb 2014 11:33 AM PST This new whacky Instagram fad was started by Dallas Pets Alive (DPA). Their goal is to make Dallas a no-kill city while also helping homeless dogs get adopted. It works like this: DPA searches Instagram for selfies and Photoshops a mutt who's up for adoption into the picture. They also provide information about how to help the shelter animal. The result is hilarious, of course, but it also gets the message out that an adorable pup is in need of a forever home. Visit their Instagram page to join in on the fun and find out how you can help find a new home for these lovable pups! Submitted by: Unknown (via Huffington Post) |

Two Deer Stranded on Ice are Rescued by a Heroic Father and His Son Posted: 25 Feb 2014 10:11 AM PST After discovering two deer trapped on a frozen lake, a man called his father for help to save the exhausted animals from the slippery ice. Submitted by: Unknown (via GoPro) |
Posted: 25 Feb 2014 10:11 AM PST "The stunning sight of hundreds of bright blue butterflies was almost too much for the six-month-old kitten, Lepa, as he bounced over and started trying to catch them. The comical chase was captured by student Natalia Moldovanova in Leningrad Oblast, Russia. After awhile Lepa got tired and collapsed among the butterflies, seemingly in paradise." Squee!
