| Governor McCrory Congratulates B.W. Collier on SBI Director Confirmation Posted: 28 Apr 2015 02:17 PM PDT Raleigh, N.C. - Governor Pat McCrory congratulated Bernard W. (B.W.) Collier II whose nomination as Director of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) was unanimously approved by the House today completing his confirmation by the General Assembly. Collier will oversee the operations of more than 300 SBI and Alcohol Law Enforcement special agents located in offices across the state.

| Governor McCrory Discusses North Carolina’s Economic Progress and Vision at Global Conference Posted: 28 Apr 2015 12:04 PM PDT Raleigh, NC – Governor Pat McCrory discussed the progress North Carolina has experienced in job creation, innovation and public-private sector cooperation as part of a panel of governors at the Milken Institute's 2015 Global Conference held in Los Angeles.
The premise of the panel, "Building a 21st Century Economy: Conversation with Governors" was to contrast the progress the states are making on governance and economics compared to the stalemate in Washington D.C.
