Syrian Hackers Hijack CBS Twitter Accounts | | The branded Twitter accounts for the CBS television network news shows 60 Minutes and 48 Hours, as well as the Twitter account of at least one CBS affiliate TV station, were hijacked over the weekend by pro-Syrian government hackers. The accounts were used to send bogus messages that claimed that the United States government was aiding terrorists in Syria.

| Reddit, already a vocal opponent of CISPA, is attempting to raise awareness for the issue by blacking out some comments on the site. The blackouts appeared on some subreddits beginning Monday morning. The call on whether to join the protest and how to protest were made by moderators, Reddit GM Erik Martin told Mashable in a phone interview.

| Your Tumblr mobile experience is ad-free no more: On Monday, Tumblr announced that is now serving ads in its iPhone and Android apps. The ads are native, taking the form not of banner ads but of posts marked by an animated dollar sign, which viewers can "like" and "reblog." Users will see no more than four sponsored posts per day, the company said in an e-mailed statement.
