The company backs up that audacious claim with some hard numbers about the Spark EV's EPA mileage stats for combined city and highway driving — measured at the equivalent of 119 miles per gallon. An equally impressive stat for the Spark EV is the EPA's estimate of its range, 82 miles per charge.

| Twitter issued an update on Thursday for Twitter for Mac for the first time since 2011, bringing a number of improvements to the Mac version of the app. Most notably, the update improves photo sharing. Now to add a photo to a tweet, you can simply click on the camera icon in the lower-left corner of the box where you’re composing your tweet, and add a photo from your computer.

| The worldwide market share of Android tablets is just a few percentage points below that of Apple's iPad, new research says. Meanwhile, Windows tablets have carved out a significant but "niche" market in their first fill quarter being available. Android tablets make up 43.4% of the global tablet market, while iOS-based ones (including the iPad, iPad 2 and iPad mini) represent 48.2%, according to data from Strategy Analytics.

| After bouncing around several top-level domains over the past couple of months, BitTorrent tracker The Pirate Bay has finally found a home in Iceland. The Pirate Bay's search for a TLD — initiated as the site's owners' fear Swedish authorities might seize its .SE domain name — recently brought the site to the Greenland-based .GL domain. That didn't last long, however, and TPB was forced to find a new home, which it did — in Iceland.
