| Google Glass has its first YouTube app. Fullscreen Labs released Fullscreen BEAM Friday, the first YouTube app for the high-tech glasses. “Our engineering team loves building better experiences for digital video creators every day and hacking on new initiatives and passion projects into the night,” Drew Baumann, Founding Engineer at Fullscreen said in a blog post announcing the app.

| Apple's App Store is nearing the 50 billion downloads milestone, and the company is celebrating by rewarding users with cash prizes. The person who downloads the 50 billionth app will get a $10,000 App Store Gift Card. People who download one of the first 50 apps after the milestone is reached can win $500. To celebrate the occasion, Apple has put up a special page with an app download counter, which currently stands around 49,247,000,000.
