| If you subscribe to Time Warner Cable, soon you might be able to access all that programming on an Apple TV box. That is, if a deal between Apple and Time Warner Cable, Inc., goes through, which Bloomberg reported could happen "within months." Over the past year, Apple has been acting on what Apple CEO Tim Cook said was "intense interest" in TV, looking to add additional content to the movies and TV shows it sells on its iTunes store.

| Another day, another Yahoo acquisition. On Wednesday, Yahoo announced its second purchase in a week with the reported acquisition of email productivity provider Xobni for a price of $30 million to $40 million. "Did you ever meet someone who truly 'gets' you? That’s how we feel about Yahoo," Xobni wrote in a company blog post announcing the acquisition.

| If you happen to be driving across the country on Thursday, you may see part of a unique Clear Channel initiative to recite "The Star-Spangled Banner" across its various electronic billboards. From July 4-7, the billboards will display the lyrics to the song, starting with "Oh say can you see" on the East Coast to "Home of the Brave" on the West Coast.

| Apple has poached fashion brand Yves Saint Laurent's CEO, Paul Deneve, to become VP of "special projects," a position in which he will report directly to Apple CEO Tim Cook, according to Bloomberg. Deneve, who served as YSL's CEO for two years, oversaw a 34% increase in sales last year. Deneve also previously worked for Apple as sales and marketing manager for Apple Europe from 1990 to 1997, according to his LinkedIn profile.
