| Spotify and Backplane have revamped their South by Southwest music hackathon this year, changing the name from Manager's Hack to Artist's Hack and adding musical performances. DJ Reflex (pictured), Paper Hotel, New York City Queen and Dawn & Hawkes will provide entertainment, Backplane told Mashable, as third-party music developers use application programming interfaces (APIs) to infuse features into their apps and platforms.
