NeverWet Makes Everything You Own Water-Resistant

Ross Nanotechnology has developed a product called Rust-Oleum NeverWet that does just what its name says. Just spray pretty much everything you own with NeverWet and it becomes basically waterproof. NeverWet is designed to be used on multiple surfaces by creating a superhydrophobic barrier, which repels water. When any liquid hits this barrier, it forms beads that roll of the surface without clinging on.

'The Wizard of Oz' Like You've Never Seen Before: In Legos

This year at Brickworld Chicago, a group of online Lego builders called VirtuaLUG (Virtual Lego User Group) recreated every major scene from the original 1939 The Wizard of Oz movie, including a motorized tornado. Android Gaming Console GamePop Announces Free Smaller Form Factor

GamePop allows users to pay a subscription of $6.99 a month to access over 500 mobile games on their TVs for free each month. Japan to Launch Talking Robot Into Space

A small talking robot built in Japan is about to take one giant leap into space. Kirobo — a humanoid "robot astronaut" that can converse with humans in space and on the ground — is scheduled for launch to the International Space Station on Aug. 4. Once aboard the orbiting laboratory, Kirobo will take part in the first robot-to-human conversation in space, Kibo Robot Project officials have said.
