Supermom Lab Rescues Her Six Puppies From a Chilean Wildfire by Digging Them a Shelter

A supermom black lab saved her puppies from a fire burning in Valparaíso, Chile by leading them behind a metal container and digging them a protective hole.

Witnesses fleeing the fire that eventually burned over 1,200 acres watched as the dog lead her puppies away from the flames.



After saving her pups the mother dog, who has been nicknamed "Blackie" by rescue workers, found her own shelter. All of the dogs survived and several Valparaíso residents have stepped forward to adopt the entire family.

Barsik the Cat Plays Fetch Like a Dog

In Russia, cats are actually dogs.

At least this little guy certainly seems to think so.

In the video above, Barsik the cat plays fetch with his owner, chasing a tiny ball and quickly bringing it back for more. He even pants afterwards with his tongue hanging out.

Back in January we also saw a Russian cat pull a "Lassie" and rescue an abandoned baby.

"I have a CatDog," the man says.

Yes, you do. Minus the second freakishly conjoined head.
