The Book of Daniel: by Stephen Payseur

Author, Stephen Payseur will hold the kick off of his planned book launch events at the Lincoln Cultural Center, in Lincolnton, NC on July 22, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00. At this event, you will have the opportunity to chat with Steve Payseur and purchase signed copies of his book.

Lincolnton, NC 2012 – Did the son of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, the Crown Prince of France, escape and live in Lincoln County, NC? Did he receive help from the Freemasons, European Monarchs, Pirates and Outlaws? Many people think so.
In The Book of Daniel, author Stephen Payseur investigates the evidence and makes the case that this could have indeed happened. A linear descendant of the man who could have been The Lost Dauphin of France, Payseur weaves a tale of deception and intrigue that spans two continents.

"There is something to this story," Payseur says. "There are just way too many coincidences for some of it to not be true."

He goes on to say that much of what you read on the internet about Daniel Payseur is simply untrue and that he has sifted through this information to come to the conclusions he has reached. As a direct linear descendant of Daniel, Payseur he says that, "for years stories of buried treasure and other mysterious events have been told in family circles. All of those tales piqued my interest in finding out more about Daniel Payseur."

According to Payseur, other book signing events are being planned in the Lincoln and Gaston county area over the coming weeks and announcements will be coming soon.

About the Author: Stephen Payseur is the author or editor of five nonfiction books, many about local history. He is a lifelong Lincoln County resident, and the owner of Lincolnton based CreekSide Publishing Company which has recently published books for several local authors.
