Although an increasing number of designers are live streaming their Fashion Week shows online, only a very few offer anything beyond semi-blurry, front-camera views of models on a runway. Among those 'very few' is UK retailer Topshop, which is once again engineering a unique, multi-platform show experience for online viewers, this time in partnership with Google, for its London Fashion Week show at the Tate Modern on Sunday.

Atari Founder's Steve Jobs Book Will Kickstart a Publishing Platform
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 4:29 PMChris Taylor
In 1975, Nolan Bushnell was riding high. He'd just co-founded Atari and launched the world's first home video game, Pong. And then there was the oddball engineer he'd hired, Steve Wozniak, who'd brought his equally odd friend Steve Jobs to work with him for free. "Great," Bushnell thought.

Samsung May Not Be Done Attacking Apple in Advertising
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 4:25 PMTodd Wasserman
Samsung's 2-minute Super Bowl ad featuring Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd was notable for its lack of animus towards the brand's longtime foe, Apple. That, however, doesn't mean Samsung has buried the hatchet. As the company's CMO, Todd Pendleton (pictured), told Mashable, Samsung reserves the right to go after Apple again in the future. For the moment, though, the company is treading a kindler, gentler path.

VW 'Ski Mask' Ad Appears Menacing, But Isn't
Wednesday, February 13, 2013 11:26 AMTodd Wasserman
This Volkswagen ad milks a simple premise to maximum effect. Basically, the story is: Guy walks into a store, forgets he has a ski mask on and freaks out everyone in the store. While the ad, from Deutsch, is entertaining, it also has a point: It promotes the new Volkswagen Convertible Beetle. Though it's a cold winter's day, the guy and his friends want to use the convertible as it's intended, even if that requires wearing ski masks.
