| National Geographic is dipping its toes into social waters with its latest photography project. In honor of its 125th anniversary, the non-profit has joined Tumblr to showcase "FOUND," a collection of rare photos from the National Geographic archives. According to the site, most of the photos have never been published, and were rarely seen by the public until now.

| Apple has filed a patent application for transferring "used" digital goods like MP3s, e-books and apps from one user to another, similar to a patent for a "secondary market for digital objects" awarded to Amazon just last month.
