Kmart Ad Is 'Ship-Your-Pants' Funny

There's not much to this Kmart ad except for 11 instances in which the word "ship" sounds like another word. Yet Kmart and ad agency DraftFCB Chicago get maximum mileage out of the scenario, adding instances in which customers "ship" their drawers, their nighties and, of course, their beds. Best of all, you get the pitch: Kmart lets you ship stuff right from its store.

Ray Bradbury, Finally Coming to an E-Reader Near You

During his lifetime, Ray Bradbury fought against the digization of his books, only agreeing in late 2011 to publish one novel — Fahrenheit 451 — in e-book form at the insistence of publisher Simon & Schuster. Since Bradbury's death last June, though, a handful of his stories have appeared in e-book stores, and now 16 backlist titles will be released as e-books this month.

Meanwhile, customers in Colorado seemed to be obsessed with how the brand's products killed bugs. Such insights were gleaned using technology from Luminoso, a startup hatched from MIT's Media Lab that is officially launching this month.

Ken Block, the viral video superstar driver, usually creates videos for DC Shoes, the company co-founded in 1993, but this time he's helping out another hugely successful viral brand, GoPro cameras. In this snowy ride through Russia, Block as he speeds through a ski slope in a mission to "take out as many cameras as he can!" according to GoPro's YouTube page.
