Microsoft Reportedly Working on a 7-Inch Surface

Microsoft is looking to shrink its Surface tablet to 7 inches, if you trust a recent report from the Wall Street Journal. The new, 7-inch Surface should launch later this year, but no details about the device have been given. Microsoft building a smaller version of the Surface — originally a 10.6-inch device — is hardly a surprise, given that Apple, Google and Samsung have launched tablets around that size.

A new app called StoryPress seeks to safeguard these personal tales by letting people capture and share them online.
