Yahoo Earnings Beat Estimates, But Core Problems Remain

Twitter May Add Video Content From Viacom, NBC

Twitter is aiming to increase engagement on its platform by adding video content from Viacom and NBC, according to a report. The social network is in talks with Viacom and NBCUniversal about bringing more professional video to the site and selling ads against them, according to Bloomberg. Twitter would split the ad revenues with the networks. One or more of the deals may be reached by mid-May according to the report.

Facebook is asking for 7-figure commitments for video ads set to launch on the platform this summer, according to a report. Citing "three executives briefed on the product," Advertising Age reports that Facebook is banking on a $4 million-a-day business "right out of the gate" for video ads.
