Apple to Include Audio Ads in iRadio, Report Says

Samsung Launches Father's Day Campaign for the Galaxy S4

Samsung thinks the Galaxy S4 would make a dandy Father's Day gift and is launching two ads to make its case. The first ad features a dad who is using the device's voice-activated search to get some swaddling tips. The second showcases the S4's Smart Pause technology, which pauses video when you look away. The ads, from 72andSunny, come after Apple launched a Father's Day promotion on its website late last month.

Time Warner Cable Eyes Apple TV App

Following the launch of a Time Warner Cable app for Roku in March, the cable telecommunications company is looking to launch its application on other platforms, including Apple TV, according to FierceCable. At Time Warner Cable’s investor conference on Tuesday, CEO Glenn Britt told his audience that the company’s interests extend beyond Roku, according to FierceCable's report.

'The Washington Post' Paywall Launches on June 12

The Washington Post will begin charging for full digital access to its website and mobile apps on June 12, the paper announced Wednesday. The rollout of the metered access plan (i.e., paywall) will be gradual: Various groups of readers will encounter it for the first time over a period of several weeks, The Post said in a statement. The access plan is very similar to the one the New York Times introduced two years ago.

Kickstarter Project Offers No-Gape Women's Shirts for Less

Two years ago, Rochelle Behrens, a former D.C. lobbyist, made headlines after designing a button-down shirt that did away with the puckering and gaping that frequently occurs in the bust area. Fast forward to today, and Behrens is now working to make a version of her famous shirt at half the price, turning to crowdfunding platform Kickstarter to make it happen.
