Happy Friday everyone!
This week has been crazy. But it's finally Friday, and here at FeedBlitz we may or may not be doing a little dance of joy.
And, that got us thinking about music … So, in honor of this #FunFriday let's review some of tunes that come to mind when we think of this special day of the week.
We've listed the songs in no particular order.

#1 "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure
“I don’t care if Monday’s blue/Tuesday’s grey and Wednesday too/Thursday I don’t care about you/It’s Friday I’m in love …” We couldn't agree more! And well, The Cure simply OWNS Friday with this classic ditty.
#2 "Last Friday Night” by Katy Perry
Katy Perry knows how to make catching music. This song is perfect for Friday AND for summer. Last Friday Night makes us want to drive in the sunshine with the windows down …
#3 "Friday" by Ice Cube
“Oh yeah, throw ya neighborhood in tha air/If ya don’t care …” Not sure how you throw the whole neighbourhood in the air, but what the heck, it’s Friday! Ice Cube takes us waaay back. This song is guaranteed to get your toes tapping.
#4 "Friday" by Bowling for Soup
“Tuesday seemed like it was Thursday …” Although Friday isn't technically in the lyrics, this list wouldn't be complete without a little punk rock (and maybe ska?) Either way, on our list it goes.
#5 "Friday on My Mind" by the Easy Beats
This Friday themed song takes it really old school but we had to include because the lead singer's facial expressions and dancing skills (?) are hilarious.
#6 "Friday" by Rebecca Black
We're sure that whether you're sitting in the front seat or kickin' it in the backseat, you'll pretty much hate us for sharing this song. But hey, it's Friday! Friday! FRIDAY!
#7 "Just Got Paid" by N'sync
OK we couldn't let you go with that Rebecca Black song stuck in your head so we had to recruit some help from these guys. So grab your pimp suit and get ready for the weekend.
