TubaChristmas to Bring Sounds of the Holidays To Speedway Christmas This Weekend

With more than 3 million lights in 800 displays and a bustling Christmas village, Speedway Christmas brings exciting sights and sounds to annual drive-through light show. This weekend, TubaChristmas will add to the sounds of the season with a performance outside of the Christmas village at 7 p.m. on Saturday.

Governor McCrory Highlights Importance of Historic Tax Credit at BuzziSpace Grand Opening

High Point, N.C. -  Governor Pat McCrory was in High Point today for the grand opening of the North American Headquarters of BuzziSpace, a manufacturer of high-end office furniture. The move, and the 113 jobs and nearly $2 million investment, was announced just 10 months ago. The headquarters will be located and operate out of the old Pickett Cotton Mill in downtown High Point. Governor McCrory used the grand opening to highlight the importance of the Historic Tax Credit, which will sunset at the end of the month.

Governor McCrory Names North Carolina State Ports Authority Board of Directors Chairman

Wilmington, N.C. — Governor Pat McCrory has named Tom Adams of Brunswick County the next chairman of the North Carolina State Ports Authority Board of Directors.
