Governor to Attend Greensboro Holiday Parade

Raleigh, N.C. - Governor Pat McCrory will attend the annual Greensboro Holiday Parade, a downtown tradition for over 37 years. The annual parade attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year and has been a community staple each holiday season.

 

"Christmas is a time of joy and anticipation," Governor McCrory said. "I'm excited to celebrate this season with the people of Greensboro."

Western Residence Holiday Open House with Governor and First Lady this Weekend

Asheville, N.C. - North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory and First Lady Ann McCrory will be hosting a Holiday Open House at the Governor's Western Residence this weekend. The open house will be held on both Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Media wishing to attend and speak with Governor McCrory are encouraged to visit the residence between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Overland Contracting Headquarters Means New Jobs for Wake County

Raleigh, N.C. -  Governor Pat McCrory and N.C. Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker, along with the Economic Development Partnership of N.C., announced today that 89 new jobs will be coming to Wake County over the next three years. Overland Contracting Inc. will open its headquarters in Garner with an $8.4 million investment in its facilities that are being built to support more than 90 of the company's professionals.
