| Samsung's flagship Android phone, the Galaxy S 4, is now available for pre-order in Canada via Rogers. The Galaxy S 4 is available in two colors — Black Mist and White Frost, and it starts at $199.99 with a three-year plan. Those who don't like the idea of signing up for such a long plan can have the Galaxy S 4 sans contract, but the price is hefty: CA$700 ($683).

| Samsung, whose flagship devices all sport a plastic chassis, is considering launching the Galaxy Note 3 "phablet" with a metal exterior, SamMobile reports citing its insiders. The same source claims that a metal case was also in the works for the Samsung Galaxy S 4, but that design was dropped since Samsung could not mass-produce enough units fast enough.
