#FunFriday: Five Business Apps We're Loving Right NowFriday we meet at last. Isn't it funny how a short week after a long weekend can seem even longer than a regular work week? But not to fear, our favorite blog post of the week is here to bring in the weekend: #FunFriday! This week, we're talking all about some of the apps we're using – and loving – right now. Some of them are all business and others are just for fun. Check them out and be sure to leave us a comment below sharing what your favorite apps are. Harvest
Harvest is a time-tracking app that you can synch and use on all your mobile and desktop devices. We love Harvest because it tracks your time and then creates customizable invoices you can send to clients. It also has lots of visually appealing reports that break down how you're time is being spent by client and project with costs. It's very easy to use and you can even create recurring invoices. Cost: Free trial and then $12/month.
Evernote
Evernote is a multi-purpose, 'remember anything' platform that allows you to easily store things you want to remember like to-do lists, photos, recipes, websites, screenshots and more. We love Evernote because it's an easy-to-use, versatile way to keep track of all of our lists, bookmarks and articles we want to remember. It's also compatible with mobile, tablet and desktop devices. Cost: Free.
Dropbox
Dropbox allows your to easily share documents and files individually and within teams through its online and mobile apps. Think databases, contracts, designs, financial and strategic plans all conveniently stored in the cloud. You can review, edit and upload at any time. Drop box is compatible with Ipad, Android, iPhone and Blackberry. Cost: Free and paid options are available.
Focus Booster
This is an app that is only currently available for your Mac or PC desktop but it's still one of our favorites in the productivity department. Focus Booster helps to break down bigger tasks into manageable amounts of time to increase productivity. Simply start the timer to break down your workload into 25-minute intervals of time and then take a 5 minute break before continuing your task or starting a new one.
Ruzzle
How is this a business app? Well, we like to think that we're also in the business of having fun and sometimes, you just need a mental break. That's where Ruzzle comes in. This is our current favorite, 'just for fun' app and if you're at all competitive consider yourself warned because Ruzzle is highly addictive. If you've ever played the game, 'Boggle' you'll know how to play Ruzzle. The game involves creating as many words as you can as the clock counts down, scoring points for each word you make. You can even compete against your friends on Facebook. Cost: Free unless you want to get rid of ads, in which case the cost is 99 cents.
