Stephen Colbert Asks Snapchat Founders if Their Profit Disappears Too

The co-founders of Snapchat — Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy — appeared on The Colbert Report this week to clear up Stephen Colbert's confusion about their photo-messaging app, which sees and deletes 150 million photo uploads every day. Colbert hurled a few jabs at the founders, including one about their finances: "Have you guys made a profit yet or does that disappear after 10 seconds, too?" he asked.

'Vogue,' 'Wired' to Launch Online TV Channels This Month

Conde Nast Entertainment is ramping up its digital video network, launching channels for Vogue and Wired later this month. New weekly shows, including the network's first scripted series, are also being added to the channels Glamour and GQ debuted in March. The announcements were made at Conde Nast Entertainment's Newfront presentation Wednesday. Vogue's channel will launch on May 8; Wired's, on May 15.

If you stumble across across one of Khoa's reality-defying stop-motion vines, the first thing you'll ask is, "How in the world did he do that?" Twitter launched Vine on Jan. 24. The next day, 23-year-old Khoa Phan created his first Vine, a simple five-shot video of a Keurig machine brewing a cup of coffee. This was the kind of thing most people were filming when Vine first launched — mundane videos of everyday occurrences.

Hulu Adds New Original Shows

Hulu's premium video service, Hulu Plus, has doubled its user base in the past 12 months, surpassing 4 million paying subscribers since launching in 2010. Those subscribers, who pay $7.99 each month for Hulu Plus, and non-paying Hulu users will see 11 series and season premieres arrive on Hulu this summer and fall.
