Demi Lovato Is Premiering Songs Based on Intensity of Tweets

Every song from Demi Lovato's fourth studio album, Demi, will premiere online way sooner than fans anticipated — but only if those fans, a.k.a. "Lovatics," tweet like crazy. Lovato's camp launched LovaticsSpeedUpTime.com on Monday, challenging fans to tweet the song name (in hashtag form) that appears on the site. For example, "#WithoutTheLove" is track three on the album.

TweetDeck Ends Support for Facebook Tuesday

If you use TweetDeck as a dashboard for your Facebook activity, that will end Tuesday. On May 7, as promised, TweetDeck will discontinue support for Facebook feeds. The removal of Facebook support has been planned for some time. In early March, the service publicly said it would stop supporting Facebook at the same time it abandoned its mobile apps, turning exclusively to web- and desktop-based apps.

Dear Bob & Doug:I am so fed up with “shoppers” entering my celiac supply store to eyeball items, then stand there ordering them from some discounter online. I now charge people $5 to browse. (If they buy something else, I take the $5 off their bill.) Turning my place into a showroom for the Internet is so unfair — what else was I to do?— Despairing Down Under Dear Despairing: What should you do? Gosh, hard to say.
