Samsung Announces 4-Inch Galaxy Ace 3

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Ace 3, a low-end (or entry-level, if you prefer) Android smartphone with a 4-inch screen and LTE capability. The specifications are nothing to write home about: a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch, 480x800 display, a 5-megapixel camera, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of memory, expandable via microSD cards.

Report: Google Close to Buying Waze for $1.3 Billion

The bidding war for crowdsourced navigation app Waze has reportedly been won by Google, which will pay "more than $1 billion" for the startup, according to Israeli newspaper Ha'aretz. Update: The newspaper later added that the deal will be worth $1.3 billion.
