FeedBlitz #FunFriday – The Best of the Week!

By Phil Hollows

Fun FridayThis week certainly flew by, didn’t it?

That first “real” week of work after the Christmas and New Year holiday always seems to come on strong and fast.

If you’re like the rest of us, you’ve probably missed some really important and valuable articles, trying to makes heads or tails out of a fresh, new year.

Maybe you’re trying to find your footing and tackle all the challenges a new year brings, or still digging through your inbox after the holiday quiet.

We’re full steam ahead here at Feedblitz, and we don’t want you to miss a single thing. And since we’re all about making your life easier, we pulled together a list of articles from the past week that might still be sitting unread in your RSS reader or you might have missed entirely.

Mark Schaefer kicked off the week with a real humdinger of a post that really got people talking about how content creation on the web might be slowly losing its shine. Google. Always changing things up and keeping marketers and bloggers on their toes. In this post on the Hubspot blog, Alyssa Rimmer takes a close look at how some recent tweaks have made Google Authorship even more competitive, so bring your A game with every single piece of content you produce.

Ten Tools for Creating Infographics and Visualization

This post is actually from February, but it hit our RSS reader as part of a top ten post from Moz. If you’re thinking about ways to get more visual and data-heavy with your content, you’ll find some great tools here.

Seven Mistakes That Could Turn Your Corporate Video Into A Disaster

The folks at Visual.ly really know their stuff when it comes to visual content. Video is all the rage, but as Tasha Hardy explains in a post on the Visual.ly blog, there’s a lot that can go wrong if you don’t plan shots, script, and keep the information density to a manageable level.

We hope you enjoy what we’ve shared with you this week, and hope you have a safe – and WARM – weekend!
