LG Announces Updates to Optimus L Series Smartphones

LG has updated its Optimus L Series handsets, and plans to showcase them all at the upcoming Mobile World Congress, which takes place from Feb. 25 to 28 in Barcelona. All the new devices will get a "II" at the end of their names, so we'll be introduced to LG Optimus L3II, L5II and L7II.

Could This Be the iPhone 5S?

Photos of what may be Apple's next iPhone surfaced online Monday. Posted by a Chinese technology site, the images allegedly show the iPhone 5S already going into production. Nearly identical to the iPhone 5, the handset shown in the photos has an updated vibration motor (some have complained the iPhone 5's is too noisy). Beyond that minor difference, however, it looks identical to the model currently on the market.

The handset will be available Monday through Solavei’s retail partner GSM Nation for $999. Orders can be placed starting at 8am EST and if ordered tomorrow Solavei tells Mashable the handset will arrive in customer’s hands on Wednesday.

Google Now is the Star of the New Nexus 4 Ad

Google has launched a new ad for its Nexus 4 smartphone during the Grammys, and it's all about Google's personal assistant, Google Now. In the ad, people around the world are using the service to learn about the weather conditions and public transportation, check their appointments and converse in different languages. The ad is in fact quite similar to the first Nexus 4 video ad, released in October 2012, which also focuses on Google Now.
