The unsuspecting buyer purchased the faux dogs (or feroodles?) at the La Salada market in Argentina. It wasn't until he brought the primped mammals to the veterinarian that he found out the truth.

| JCPenney has replaced Ron Johnson as CEO just more than one year after he joined from Apple, the company revealed in a statement late Monday. Johnson helped spearhead the strategy for Apple's massively successful retail operation and tried to apply some of that magic to JCPenney. He attempted to refresh the JCPenney shopping experience by getting rid of the retailer's coupon program, but ended up frustrating customers instead.

Margaret Thatcher, the United Kingdom's former prime minister, died Monday at age 87 following a stroke. Website Is Thatcher Dead Yet? quickly reacted, encouraging people to reveal how they're celebrating the death via tweets with hashtag #nowthatchersdead.

| Ten years ago, the Beatles released Let It Be...Naked, a new version of their final album that Paul McCartney believed to be closer to the original artistic vision of the group. Let It Be, released in May of 1970, actually came out after the Beatles had broken up. It was a famously contentious album within the band and one that in particular irked Paul McCartney, who took issue with the remixes and additions made by producer Phil Spector.
