NASA's Curiosity Rover Soars at This Year's Shorty Awards

The Shorty Awards, an annual crowdsourced contest that honors the best social media users and Internet celebrities, announced winners Monday at a ceremony in New York City. NASA's Curiosity Rover was among the night's highlights (you can watch the entire show below) as it shared an intimate moment with funny man Seth Green in a short video and even won Foursquare Mayor of the Year for using the check-in app from Mars.

Ten years ago, the Beatles released Let It Be...Naked, a new version of their final album that Paul McCartney believed to be closer to the original artistic vision of the group. Let It Be, released in May of 1970, actually came out after the Beatles had broken up. It was a famously contentious album within the band and one that in particular irked Paul McCartney, who took issue with the remixes and additions made by producer Phil Spector.
