Yahoo Introduces 2 New Ad Formats

Yahoo unveiled two new advertising formats Monday as the company continues to battle quarterly declines in ad revenue. One, called "Stream Ads," are ad units that appear in-line with — and in the same format as — stories in Yahoo's news feed. The ads run across desktop, tablet and mobile.

Barry Diller Says Buying 'Newsweek' Was a Mistake

'HuffPost Live' Coming to Cable TV

The live network has struck a deal with AXS TV to bring half of HuffPost Live's 12 hours of live weekday programming to the channel, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.

Shazam Gets New CEO, Gears Up for IPO

Rich Riley, the former EVP Americas for Yahoo, has joined Shazam as CEO. Shazam's previous CEO, Andrew Fisher, will now become executive chairman, a newly created position. Fisher had led Shazam since 2005.
