| LOS ANGELES — During a press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Sony finally debuted the PlayStation 4, the latest version of its popular console. Sony announced the the device during a press event in late February. The company began developing the PS4 shortly after it released the PlayStation 3 in 2006. While we learned a bit about the fourth-generation console in February, Sony didn't reveal it at the time.

| TOSA, or Trolleybus Optimisation Systeme Alimentation, is a new electric bus charging system that takes only 15 seconds to power up. It is now being tested in Geneva, Switzerland. The system currently in place has the vehicles constantly connected to overhead trolley cables or, alternatively, running entire routes on a single charge.

| Today's Google Doodle is a wonderful animated tribute to Maurice Sendak, an American author and illustrator widely known for his 1963 children's book, "Where the Wild Things Are." The Doodle is one of the most elaborate animated Doodles we've seen — the animation goes on for more than a minute, ending with a birthday cake for what would be Sendak's 85th birthday.
